Overview
Avaya's WLAN Handset 2212 is a specialty-level wireless device with enhanced durability (liquids resistance), backlit keypad, and an integrated IP security (IPsec) Virtual Private Network (VPN) client designed for premises-based mobile communication in the workplace. The full-featured and lightweight handset supports a robust set of telephony capabilities for voice and data communication via WLAN IEEE 802.11b access points. The WLAN Handset 2212 is optimized for deployments requiring enhanced security or durability in general office or healthcare environments.
